IAEA-CH-6 (formerly Sucrose ANU) was supplied to the IAEA by H. Polach, Australian National University, Canberra [1] as 14C quality control material IAEA-C6. A portion of the original material was intended for stable isotope measurements and was renamed to IAEA-CH-6. It was checked for isotopic homogeneity and its recommended δ13C value was determined in an international calibration [2]. This table shows the recommended δ13C (versus VPDB) values of the reference material.
Analyte | Value | Unit | SD | R/I/C |
---|---|---|---|---|
δ13C | -10.449 | ‰VPDB | 0.033 | C |
(R/I/C) Classification assigned to the property value for analyte (Recommended/Information/Certified)
