Materials with known 2H, 13C,15N and 18O isotopic composition
Unit Size: 1 ml
NBS 22 mineral oil was prepared by S. Silverman, Chevron Oil Company, La Habra, California [1]. The material served for several decades as reference material for organic carbon bearing substances. The carbon isotopic composition of this material was re-assessed with changes in recommended δ13C value and improvement in its value uncertainty [2,3].
Analyte | Value | Unit | SD | R/I/C |
---|---|---|---|---|
δ13C | -30.031 | ‰VPDB | 0.043 | C |
δ2H | -120 | ‰VSMOW | 1 | C |
(R/I/C) Classification assigned to the property value for analyte (Recommended/Information/Certified)
